If you are in the path of a pyroclastic flow, you won't have enough time to work up a sweat running from it- much less time to get tired before you die.

He's still miffed that Ferengi got the franchise from White Castle is all.

Better than a Klingon is the way I figure it. Can you imagine a Klingon running a fast food drive thru? "You will order. Now!!"

I took them all to lunch. After we ordered and sat down, I excused myself by saying I had to go to the bathroom. While they were discussing my motivation for saying that, I turned off the simulation. They all disappeared.

The White Castle was supposed to be part of the 10 Forward remodel, not a holodeck simulation!

You're right. But the PTB decided the space would be better used to put in a polo field for the private use of the Ambassador. So engineering moved it to the Holodeck.

I'm not trying to start a war or anything, but there was only one Star Trek, and it had no holodeck! Sure, all the wanna-be Star Trek add-ons had their fancy props, but the real Star Trek had cardboard sets and blinking lights.

When we were living up there, we were all kinda hoping Rainier would've gone off. Granted, we were living near Mt Pilchuck at the time so we would've been ok.

Just like they're doin' with Star Wars, Batman, Avengers, etc......they ran it into the ground on both screens. One movie made from any tv series is really too many but it should certainly be the limit. All of this "sequel, prequel, etc" stuff is just a nice way of saying "it's a crappy remake with different characters". Novelty is a big part of the draw to these shows and movies so after the first one, they quickly lose their luster. Television shows should be left to tv and comic book characters should be left in print, possibly animation if done faithfully. It's really the same with books, they should mostly be left alone and not "adapted" for a movie or tv show. If you've read the book first, the movie usually sucks. ........................jus' saiyin'.
