I am very sorry for your loss.

We have a 21 year old Calico that is curled up beside me now. She is in pretty good shape to be such an age, but I know her time will not be forever. I dread that day.

Sorry to hear about Lucky, but what a story of rescue.

There's a special place for people who rescue animals, especially ones that have had such a horrible situation.

Wow, amazing, a 21 year old Calico that's getting on in years for a cat, they are great creatures the small house cats have the same DNA as the big ones that roam the African plains, IMHO when all is gone on this earth, cats will inherit the earth, they are self sufficient can survive on their own, they need no help from humans, mine used to disappear into the woods for a week, then walk into the house the take a couple of mouthfuls of its dry food and go about her business like she'd never left. Never worried she would return ... Wonderful animals great personalities ...

So sorry to hear of your loss. Twenty years is a long time to spend with a friend. I'm sure you named him Lucky partly in irony but a better name couldn't have been picked. He had a rough start but was lucky to find you all.
