    Tito's Handmade Vodka....

....from a micro distillery in Austin, Texas.

Somebody gave me a bottle, and knowing nothing about it I snuck a note into TA Prison and asked their most notorious inmate if he had ever heard of it.

TH replied, "Good stuff" and went on to tell an interesting story. It seems his Mom and sister were driving in Austin when they spotted a wandering dog. They stopped to see if they could determine the owner. The dog hopped in their car and wouldn't leave. They drove to the address on the dog's collar- nobody home- but they left a note as to where the dog could be claimed. Later that night Tito himself shows up to get his dog with a couple of jugs of Tito's Handmade Vodka in thanks.

And, yes- It is good stuff. So if you ever spot a wandering dog in Austin, a bottle or two of Handmade Vodka may be in your future...

PS- TH seems to be fine, but in the words of Keith Richards, when he was released from British prison, "I prefer more space and the toilet in a separate area. And I hate to be woken up!"

Tito's is all the rage here in Dallas. Hear commercials for it all the time. That and that darn pillow guy.

I like vodka, and Titos is the best as far as I am concerned.

    I guess it's O.K., it's just vodka.

I don't see how it's "handmade" as I see it everywhere.

Tito's is my 2nd favorite vodka. It is only second to Chopin Potato vodka, and (I agree) that it is FAR better than Grey Goose, Ketel 1, or any of the other highly popular boutique vodkas out there.

One of my favorites is another Texas spirit - Deep Edy. It’s almost too smooth for my liking, I prefer a vodka with a bit of bite.

Anybody else ever try running cheaper vodka through a water filter? I have done it and it does make a bit of a difference...I didn't think it was dramatic but it was noticeable. I only ran it through the filter 1 time, though. I rarely drink vodka straight, I am more of a bourbon guy.
