You're both right, and somewhere else it talks about the time being like a 'thief in the night'. So, I'm kinda thinking that an event like this, or any other event predicted by man, is definitely bogus.

When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

I'll bet you would be safe if a lawyer was driving a car you were riding in.

Is numerology an actual profession or just another name for Sister Marie's Fortune Reading and Back Massage?

Hasn't this nut made some predictions before? Or is that another wacko?

It seems to be a profession however so is Sister Marie's Fortune Reading and Back Massage.
It is similar to astrology only using numbers instead of stars and constellations.
Some people believe in astrology, some in numerology.
I believe I'll have another beer.

Numerology is any belief in the divine or mystical relationship between a number and one or more coinciding events.
It is also the study of the numerical value of the letters in words, names and ideas.
It is often associated with the paranormal, alongside astrology and similar mystical arts.

As an element of astrology and fortune-telling, numerology has long been employed to predict future events.
    For many early Christians, 3 represented the Trinity, 6 represented earthly perfection, and 7 represented heavenly perfection;
and still today many of us like to group things into sets of 3 or 7 for no particular reason.
Numerology has also been used to interpret personality; in particular, numerologists may assign numbers to each letter of a
person's name and use the resulting figures, along with the person's date of birth, as a guide to his or her character.

I took the numbers assigned to the letters in my name and added them up.
I just solved the "Theory of Everything".
    I'm going to be famous.
There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister
conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

What if it’s overcast and I cannot see the stars? If I can’t see it will it still happen?

The earth currently gets hit by meteors the size of basketballs nearly every day; by meteors the size of VW bugs monthly and those the size of a house ~ annually. The meteor/asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs (70% of all life on earth at that time) was ONLY 6 miles wide. Based on the prior history of early and late bombardment, and the fact that planets continue to influence and collide with other planets, nearly all astronomers say that it’s only a matter of time before another planet killer hits. I guess that will wipe out all guns in the world so the liberals can rest easy.

"To own firearms is to affirm that freedom is not a gift from government...As the Founding Fathers knew well, a government that does not trust its honest, law-abiding, taxpaying citizens with the means of self-defense is not itself worthy of trust."

The possession of arms by the people is the ultimate warrant that government governs only with the consent of the governed.
