I thought this would be fun! photoshop guns

I posted this on THR and TFL Maybe here we could do more Taurus pistols mixed up, anyway here is what I put over there

I started thinking about what features or parts I like on different guns and I wondered what they would look like put together. For example this one I did is a Taurus 24/7 Pro frame with the Beretta PX4 slide.

I did this in Microsoft paint so don't be to harsh on the quality of the photoshop

I know others out there are waaaaay better at this sort of thing so lets see what you got. Figure out which parts you like from different pistols and put them together. It doesnt have to be just a frame-slide combo, be creative. See if you can put together something with different frame, gips, slide, trigger, trigger gaurd, hammer, no hammer ect.ect.ect. It will be interesting to see if making a mut gun so to speak can look better then its original.

    Let the fun begin

Oh and don't forget to let us know what parts are what.

Interesting amalgamation there! Reminds me of a pic on saw on gunbroker before of a Ruger revolver that was entirely Ruger aside from a Colt barrel that was mated to it. IIRC, it was a Security Six with a King Cobra barrel.

Back in the late 80's, early 90's era, there were a few custom gunsmiths putting Colt Python barrels on K-Frame S&W M19's and M66's. The amalgamation was called a "Smython". All sorts of customizing goes on.

Especially since it looks like you couldn't set both safeties at once. Assuming the safety on the slide is off. If it was down (on) there would be no room to put the safety on the frame up to safe.

Ok We'll pretent the top one is the "safety" and the bottom one is the decocker

So you can leave the bottom one alone and us the top one to carry cocked and locked, or you can carry cocked with the safety off, or you can carry decocked with the safety on or off, I think I just confused myself
