Cool, I want to see the landing.
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.

I went fly fishing in Alaska and was on a float plane, the fishing was a bust but the ride was awesome

That was pretty cool! There used to be a guy at the airport I hung out at with an amphibious float plane. I always figured the transition from a traditional nose-dragger to amphibious floats would be exciting. The sight picture change from landing with your butt three feet above the runway to six feet above it seems a bit discombobulating.

Haven't flown in a float plane, I've been on several low-and-slow flights in Alaska, and it's funny how I remember the flights more than the events to which I was going or leaving. Flying in Alaska really is an adventure in itself.

I'm guessing he was not shooting a touch & go!

Float planes are cool, I do want to get an amphibian some day.

A buddy of mine has some land out in east Texas which we go to from time to time to eat BBQ, shoot, ride four wheelers, drink beer etc. On the way out there off one of the highways, someone has a long rectangular tank that I always thought looked like a float runway. This 4th of July I was proven right, we drove past and they had the plane in the water. It was pretty cool.

While you and I don't see eye to eye on polyticks, we are kin brethren on flying and shooting and stomping grapes. Maybe if we just had a dictator, which we are likely to soon have, we could all just get along! You really do need to get that toe nail fungus seen about!

Someone told me that pilots licenses are more prevalent that drivers licenses in Alaska.
