Check out the 3rd guy through the door.

If this guy was on an SF team he'd be getting his butt kicked for sure.

Evidently he does it all the time. I can hear it now:

Whoa! Part of me wants to laugh my butt off. And the other part is thinking about the guy infront of him. Close one.

2nd man...the 3rd man's gun was in the air when the first shot was fired. Either way, point taken and understood.

This looks intentional to me, like maybe it's a tactic in their country, ala cheap stun grenade. Clearly fire is coming from the gun of the third man as they enter, before they encounter the BG. Yet nothing is falling from the cealing. He surely wouldn't risk firing through the floor into the apartment above. Could he be firing blanks into the air? Could they believe this has some positive effect on the BG, who already knows they are coming in because they beat the door open?

Re: Check out the 3rd guy through the door.

I'm thinking that this is a local team, not OMON. Beating on a door that opens TOWARDS you with a sledge hammer is counter-productive to a dynamic entry. There are hydraulic tools that will work much more quietly on that front, and the Russians also have stun-grenades.

Did anyone notice that the gun in question appeared to be a shotgun? The results on the car also resembled buck shot in many ways, with possibly a slug thrown in. Pretty good shooting, in that case.

I also think that you can rest assured that the remainder of the building had been emptied of people. They have learned something after the school in Chechnya.
