I've dry shaved with a hunting knife before...Case Kodiak, a VERY sharp knife. Amazingly few nicks, just did it to see if I could after sharpening and stropping the knife. I prefer using SOME sort of lubricant, let's just put it that way. :D
When I shave, I shave that way. Brush and a safety razor is the best shave I ever had. I don't trust myself with a straight razor.
And once ya get used to it, the shave only takes 5-10 minutes. Well worth the time for the quality of the shave.
You all are nuts. I've used a safety razor. I like those razors with 15 blades on 'em, smooth and no nicks. :D
I think that last batch of razors I bought have 4 or 5 blades or something. I'd buy those Gillettes with the multiple blade heads, but you get 3 blades in a pack for something like $240,000 or something. Heck, they've got some great disposables at the "everything's a dollar" store. :D
I get more irritation from the disposable razors with 4 blades than I ever have gotten from the single razors... and the safety razors are like .10 a piece!
Sounds as fun as watching it grow (<>.. <>)
