If he had served 24 years, 364 days, there is no good day to die on the job. His short service does not diminish his contribution or his heroism.

Hopefully there is not a young family in mourning tonight, but if there is, prayers and condolences to them, and to parents, siblings and friends.

Whenever there is a loss of one of our LEO's it is so very sad. In this case, perhaps more so because he was so young. Prayers sent for his family!

It never gets easy seeing these.
There was a time I dedicated enough to do that job and was ok knowing I may not come home. It's behind me now and to be honest I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

That is very sad, thugs are running the show and out of control. All for a few dollars, no thought for human life his or theirs. My thoughts and prayers go out to the officer and his family as well as the family of the robber.

A driver’s license works in every state, so it’s common sense that a concealed carry permit should work in every state. If we can do that for driving — which is a privilege, not a right — then surely we can do that for concealed carry, which is a right, not a privilege.
