    What's your Favorite Board Game??

I grew up in an era when TV was three channels of glorious Black & White and video games were non existent in the Arcades ( Pinball was king ), and non-existent in the home ( yes... pre-PONG!! ) What I am leading up to is... that board games were probably more popular "back when" ..... and I grew up playing them a lot. My Mother's relatives played Scrabble "For Blood"!! - and my siblings and I were probably just as intense with Monopoly and other games. As a kid, CLUE was probably my favorite!!
My kids grew up playing board games ( probably more than the average kid)..... Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, Uncle Wiggly..... right on up to Risk!! Their favorite is probably 13 Dead End Drive. They have literally wore it out. I recently discovered that it is no longer in production so went to E-bay to get another copy. While browsing, I got sucked in and also ended up buying two more games that have been out of production for a while - Go for Broke and Password (1962).
Soo, just curious... what is your favorite board game?? or do you play board games anymore??

    Monopoly.

I also liked Risk, there's an online version of Risk too. www.warfish.com They used to be by invitation only, but I don't think they are. If you're interested and need an invite, let me know and I'll get you one.

Since you did not specify "table" or "floor" board games I'd say....

    "TWISTER" No batteries required.

My friends and I have been playing a lot of Settlers of Catan. Kind of like risk but not as long for those of us with short attention spans.

Monopoly. I got an old ancient board around here somewhere. Might just have to dig it out.
