Sadly this is not just a Walmart problem, this is an idiots that breed and make more idiots problem.

You got to love the lines at the registers....the cashier has no incentives to move the line quickly. They love to chat with the regulars one item at a time. When it's time to pay...these customer's are not even ready. Some will reach into the black hole called the handbag. Ten minutes later they find the wallet. And your lucky if they are paying with plastic. No matter the age.

Two or three years ago, there was a news story about a Walmart employee getting canned for stopping a thief. Except for one trip to pick up some lag bolts for a job I was doing next door, I haven't been back. I take my boycotts somewhat seriously.

Wally World isn't the only one with that sort of problem. I have experienced it in car dealerships both on the sales floor and the service department and even in the old Monkey Ward stores among numerous others. When we were first married my new bride had to drag me out of the car dealerships service area into the street when I was going to feed the service manager a knuckle sandwich thru his nose. I taught her well though a few years later during a situation with another dealership she got in that service managers face and said "WTH is this screw up going to cost us" and the service manager with his face beet red said " Not a thing MRS D., Not a thing"! Now we both have always been pretty easy going, but when we get pushed over the line it's " Hang on Nellie, it's going to be a wild ride"!
