LoL I think they must, the ram is always trying to kneecap me. May also be a hint when I tell 'em to hurry up and grow cuz I want fresh chops. Too bad most of these guys are for breeding stock, so there'll be very little hitting the freezer this fall...but next fall...I may have to buy more freezers

I guess "too bad" is all in how you look for at it... From the animals point of view: if my choice is sex or end up on the dinner table as the main course... I know what I'd choose!

Nice start and pretty soon you'll have bacon seedlings to grow to fruition. Still worried about the evil goats though.

Hey Wolf that is an absolutely beautiful place you have there. How are the regs up your way when it comes to smaller farms? Over this way the state and the locals seem to take quite a bit of joy in making it as hard as humanly possible for people to be self sufficient or make a little money on the side. Heck there are a lot of places around here that basically let the ninnies move in and shut ya down because if the smell.

    Regs? What regs?

Actually there aren't any that I've found yet, the ag center at the courthouse wasn't aware of any either. I'm zoned Ag, only thing I need to do is keep any and all receipts for tax season and if I make a profit (hah! I'm figuring 2 years at a minimum before I start seeing a profit) I have to pay taxes on it.
