If Houston's mosquitoes don't eat you alive, ...

... then Houston's feral dog packs will.

Housekeeper, 52, fights for life after pack of 15 stray dogs 'eat her to the bone' as she waited for a bus in broad daylight

Heard about this on the radio. Don't know why the only story I can find on the net is in the Daily Mail rather than a local paper.

Good example of a reason to carry, and why you need more than 1/7/10/15 rounds of ammo.

By the way, here's a Dallas article to at least back it up with something more local than a UK article:

    Wow, very sad.
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.

Finally stumbled across something from local CBS affiliate KHOU via the Chronicle. Yeah, I'm thinkin' 15 rounds of .40 is a minimum.

Actually this is one reason I do carry, though I only have problems with one or two at a time.
    Definition of clip

1: any of various devices that grip, clasp, or hook
2: a device to hold cartridges for charging the magazines of some rifles; also : a magazine from which ammunition is fed into the chamber of a firearm.
