This is the first HRR I ever bought. I got it the day before the Clinton gun ban (background checks) went into effect. That's the mid 90s for you kids out there. The original finish flaked off and some spray paint replaced it. Not a big deal for me because the truth of the matter is that they're cheap revolvers. They've always been cheap revolvers. They'll never be as accurate as a Ruger or as durable. They ARE a fun day at the range with the kids and grandkids. That's all they were ever meant to be. If you shoot the livin daylights out of them, you'll have to work on them or replace them on a regular basis. Not a criticism, just a fact. Doesn't make them any less enjoyable to have. I have two and I like that Heritage sells parts and accessories so I can dress em up. Fancy stuff from the factory just makes them display pieces that you can take out and shoot occasionally. Again, not a criticism, just a fact. They're popular enough that Ruger HAD to come out with a low cost revolver to try to take back some of their market share. I've never understood why people shell out $130 (on sale) for a revolver and expect it to shoot as well, or be as durable, as a $600 revolver.

I started looking for a 22WMR cylinder and can't find one. Called Heritage and got put on hold for 15 minutes until I hung up
