Other than the Krags issued to the Rough Riders, I haven't heard of a new carbine. Do you have a link? I agree it would be great if Heritage/Taurus put out a new 22 carbine.
Has anyone heard anything about the new rough rider carbine?I want one in .22 mag 9 shot hopefully !

So far the only thing is a 16" barrel revolver, but have not seen anything that has to do with rifle or carbine version. As stated before by silverstring do you have a link to that?
Might Heritage put out a revolving rifle based on their Rough Rider pistols? Remove the grip and engineer a rifle stock on it. Sorta' like Cimmaron:

EDIT: Found it! Rough Rider Rancher 22LR. Cheesy video and I don't really think its real (nothing on the Heritage site) but here it is:

I see lots of lawsuits in this gun's future. Too many people, especially those unfamiliar with revolvers, aren't aware of the gasses that escape the gap between the cylinder and forcing cone. Even in a .22LR these gasses are hot enough to cause painful burns. I think the natural tendency, with no forearm to hold, will be to place the support hand somewhere dangerously close to that gap. even so, I want one.

I think that's a one-off. Somebody mounted a stock on one of their 16" barrel revolvers.
Definition of clip
1: any of various devices that grip, clasp, or hook
2: a device to hold cartridges for charging the magazines of some rifles; also : a magazine from which ammunition is fed into the chamber of a firearm.

Doesn't really flip any of my switchs anyhow. Interesting concept.

Taurus got it right with making sure there were no escaping gasses from the cylinder on the Circuit Judge. No interest in a Heritage version here on my part.
