Thank you for verifying that it is indeed coming with a MSRP of $297.39 that is made of steel and not alloy. It also has a walnut stock.

The new Rough Rider Rancher .22 LR rimfire revolver carbine is a handy little rifle inspired by the revolver carbines of the 19th century. The blued steel Rancher features a 16.125” round profile barrel with an adjustable Buckhorn sight system. The alloy frame has been replaced with a steel frame that has extensions to support a straight, checkered walnut shoulder stock. This rifle ships with an adjustable leather sling with a suggested retail price of $297.39.

I don't like the carbine's cylinder being so close to the shooter's face.

I like it in the same way I like my Henry AR-7- Pretty much totally useless but fun! I'll resist buying one for a while, then give in...

Where did you buy yours? I want one and have been searching all over for it. Heritage tells me they are not shipping them as a 1 April, buds gun shop has none, Kentucky gun shop has none, even guns America and gun broker have none listed.

Share where you got it so others can take advantage of that also.

Cool, I didn't even know about this model. I will most likely get one. I got the Heritage 16-inch revolver and I have the .22LR/Mag Rossi revolver rifle, so for me, it's almost a no-brainer. Not that I'll really shoot it much (still haven't shot my Rossi), but it's definitely on my list now!
