Video's seem kind of flaky, might be interested just for the novelty of the thing.

If I came across one in my travels I am absolutely certain it would follow me home!

    Don
I see gun control as waiting in an ambulance at the bottom of a cliff when we should be building a fence at the top!

It would depend upon price point. A Rough Rider Buntline is retails at Academy for $189. Slap a stock on in for $40 (swag) and even with a premium of it being a revolving rifle it couldn't be much more that $229-$239. MSRP it at that price and with a street price of maybe $209-$219 and I'd be in if only to say I had a similar gun to Bull Harris in 'El Dorado.'

Read about it in one of my gun magazines, but didn't seem to interest me much.
    Are we there yet?

The Circuit Judge is still a revolver and it still has gasses escaping the cylinder/forcing cone gap. What Rossi did was incorporate deflectors to direct the gasses away from the shooter. More here, third paragraph. There's actually been only one revolver that eliminated the problem, the Nagant M1895.

To me, these are neither fish nor fowl. It's like they have all the disadvantages of both. Not as good a rifle as a conventional rifle, and it loses the compactness of a handgun. Plus you have the problem of getting burnt. I feel the same way about this as I do the Mare's leg. Interesting and fun maybe, but kind of useless.

It's like these stupid "designer dogs". You can cross any two breeds you want, but that doesn't mean you're getting the best traits of both. You often get the worst traits of both. Even the "inventor" of the Labradoodle regrets it..........

So I sent an email off to Heritage inquiring about it noting that there is some chatter in the newsgroups and pictures of said gun floating about the ether. I got a response from 'Veronica' that stated "We have no information about the Heritage Rancher." So... either it exists and she has no info or just ain't sayin' or it doesn't exist and that is why she has no info. Regardless, he pic does look a bit odd as the stock is abnormally large for the rest of the gun, and I don't expect it to be hitting retailers soon. If it did truly exist would expect it would have already been introduced to make it to retailers for the Christmas buying season.
