My Heritage shoots as well as my new Ruger Wrangler and is less ammo picky to boot. I still like it for what it is, but I have a DA Rossi, old M511 Sportsman, that will out shoot either. Nice to have a cowboy .22 or two in the collection, though.

Got another email from Taurus. They want me to pay $50 to send it back. I can get a new one for $99.

Need to decide how to dispose of the serialized part.

Well, if they send it back to you and it's fixed the right way then you're ahead of the game having it shipped home. If they send it back to you and it's still broken Maybe you and I can work out some kind of a deal To buy it as a parts gun.

PM me and we will talk about it…

Are we the only country dumb enough to start a second civil war because we are offended by the first one?

Not going to pay $50 to ship it to them. No guarantee they'll fix it. Plus, something else could go wrong with it. Just not worth it.

If you're friends with an FFL they can send it in via USPS...30 bucks or less.
“Historically, freedom is a rare and fragile thing . . . Freedom has cost the blood of millions in obscure places and in historic sites ranging from Gettysburg to the Gulag Archipelago . . .That something that cost so much in human lives should be surrendered piecemeal in exchange for visions and rhetoric seems grotesque. Freedom is not simply the right of intellectuals to circulate their merchandise. It is, above all, the right of ordinary people to find elbow room for themselves and a refuge from the rampaging presumptions of their ‘betters’.” Thomas Sowell
