    Heritage RR back from factory

I decided to send my Heritage Big Bore RR back to the factory to be looked over. Surprisingly, when I told them about the sticky spent brass and it shooting high and right they sent me a RA# and had me send it to them on their dime. The customer service rep. said that he could only remember getting a few in for repair so far and that it was strange that I had some problems with mine. They gave me a estimated waiting period of 6 weeks at least for them to get it done......a week later or so later I got a message from FedEx that I had a package shipped to me and to expect it soon. Much to my surprise, they got the work done very quickly!

Upon opening the box, I found a work order receipt detailing the work done and two test targets. Letter states that they "adjusted Cylinder and Barrel"(as evidenced by the lack of bluing on the front sight). The targets looks like they adjusted it to shoot 130grn 38spl and 158grn 357mag at 15 yards. I didn't expect any of that and am very impressed! Its going to be a while before I shoot it again, but I'm sure that it should be pretty much perfect now.

In the past I read that Taurus CS was pretty slow to return repairs, but so far it seem they are churning them out at pretty good speeds. Anyone else notice this?

That is a good-looking revolver. Wow. Apologies if you spent any time typing words; all I see is a gorgeous blued steel revolver with some great wooden grips.

Awesome! A nice revolver. Sounds like you had a really positive experience with CS.
