A sensational photo of two mice fighting each other over crumbs of food on a train platform inside of London's subway just won one of the world's top awards for wildlife photography. Taken by Sam Rowley, the picture titled "Subway Squabble" won the Wildlife Photographer of the Year's People Choice Award -- an annual competition held by the Natural History Museum in London.

Saw Air force One fly over Heart of Texas Speedway in Waco one night when Dubya was President, the whole place erupted into cheers.

You must be careful what you pretend to be, because in the end, you are what you pretend to be.

All governments suffer a recurring problem: Power attracts pathological personalities. It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corruptible. Such people have a tendency to become drunk on violence, a condition to which they are quickly addicted. . . . . . . . . . . . .. — Frank Herbert, Chapterhouse: Dune
