And the Lazarus Thread award goes to . . . . zaynkarim!! Congrats, you just resurrected a 6 year dead thread.

And welcome to the neighborhood; I’m sure you’ll get plenty of opinions (and maybe a few spot on facts) before the day is out.

Personally, I have a Hornady bedside safe that opens by three mechanisms: RFID bracelet or card, keypad pattern or just use a key. No biometrics. But it won’t hold 2 guns. I keep my S&W Governor in it with two loaded speedloaders. The safe shown earlier in this thread might work for ya.

I have a pretty big Amsec from 1993. The electronic lock failed a couple of years ago and I couldn't open it. The first safe tech said it had to be drilled. He put a 1/2 horse magnetic drill over the spot and started drilling. He change the diamond tipped bits five or six times over 9 hours and failed to penetrate much more than the escutcheon. I got another tech out with an exact replacement, which we used to open the safe and install a traditional dial tumbler lock (brass guts, not nylon.) I'm keeping the Amsec.

Stay clear of Gunvault safes they are cheap and easily broken into.
