Fun afternoon shooting with my nephew

Took my nephew to the range today. He's a Marine who served with Security Services for a short time before receiving a medical retirement. We shot my PT809 and his Elite 45. Also tried out that old Marlin 39-A I came across.

All the guns preformed flawlessly. I did have a FTF with one round out of about 150 of my Federal ammo. Second strike (or third, forth and fifth strikes) wouldn't send it down range either so it must've had a faulty primer.

I must say the Marlin wasn't as fun as I had hoped. It may find its way to the sale rack or go towards a trade for something a bit bigger.

It was a fun afternoon and one that I hope to repeat again soon.

    Happy Veteren's Day!
