Good for you, I have some 22 mini mags. some 22 CCI Hyper velocity rounds, Bulk Federal .22 hollow points and bulk Remington Golden Golden Hollow Points. Also some Federal and Blazer .45 range ammo and 12 gauge slugs, buck shot and BB and #2 birdsot loads. Not selling any of my 20 gauge,

I got roughly 3000 rds of 22 LR, mostly if not completely Remington Golden Bullet and Remington Thunderbolts, all my 22 run just fine on this, and of course about a thousand rounds of 380, 9 MM, 38 Super, 10 MM , and 45 acp, plenty of components to make more.
about 800 rounds of 556 and about 500 -600 rounds of 300 BO. a few other hunting caliber rounds for the rifles and a good bit of 12 ga slugs and number ! & 4 Buckshot.
I gave a neighbors friend that just bought his first gun a box of 50 (25 Golden sabres and 25 Gold dots) as there is simply no self defense ammo around these parts.
I will load about 50 rounds of Golden Sabres and 50 of Gold dot later this week to repalce those given away, thats about the end of those projectiles but still got 100 projectiles of 80 grain all copper hollow points to load at some point.

I am a reloader so my stock is in fair shape. But I realize many of us don't do that and now would be a terrible time to start as reloading components are also MIA. My local gun store buddy and his dad check their distributors several times a day. The issue is, All of our US based ammo manufacturers are in a 120 to 160 day process to get ammo to the distributor chain. So what is out there now is a trickle while waiting for the next 2-3 month cycle, then panic buying, rinse and repeat. Prices are generally up by 50 - 80%% at the distributor level, so that increase gets passed down. Even if panic buying slows down, and the upcoming election ends up with just a small amount of turbulence. It will be late November or December before larger shipments start to roll out. If panic continues, well it will be time to fire up those old 22LR guns because that will be all that's left...until it is all gone again.

Apparently ammo is the new hand sanitizer or toilet paper. But both of those are now back in decent supply in my area. Must be time for another crisis to come along before the upcoming election as 'Murder Hornets' apparently wasn't panicking enough people. LOL

I guess I'll keep my mouth shut on where but our lgs has plenty of 9mm and 40s&w. It's mostly eastern European and dirty but ok accuracy. There seemed to be plenty of .38 spl, .357 mag, .45 colt and ACP. I really didn't pay attention to anything else. Prices a couple of bucks higher than normal but nothing to squeal about. Plenty of 12 & 20 guage and .410. Buck shot, bird shot and slugs. If everyone would quit hoarding I think we'd get back to normal. But then again I shoot 2 boxes and buy 5.

One word -- diligence. You've got to keep looking online and in any local stores. Usually there's something out there. It's just a lot more challenging right now to find it. Keep looking

Of course my local WallyWorld doesn't have any handgun or even 22LR. But they have a gazoodle of shotshells, all sizes, most common loadings. I prob ought to sock in a few boxes of 20-ga.

Just curious then, how are gun range businesses doing? Are there still people out there shooting at these places? I know I haven’t gone because I don’t have much ammo and won’t be able to replace it if I use what I’ve got at a range.
