I wonder where all these folks are finding firearms to buy. I’ve looked online etc, and they are scarce, as is ammo? Lucky gunners, eh?

With everything that's going on around us right now, even previous anti-gunners are arming up.
I personally know several people who recently became first time firearms owners.

Their buying is the reason it is scarce.

A co-worker just got his permit and a G2C. Told him to immediately enroll in a beginner's course. He couldn't find one local to him that didn't have a months-long waiting list. So I guess it's comforting to know that a bunch of the first-timers are seeking instruction along with a firearm.

I helped! Ammo disappears due to those who never owned a gun wanting a stock. Seasoned gun owners buying a new caliber need to get a few thousand rounds. Components dry up when the supply goes to make factory ammo. We have seen this before. Wait until December if Biden wins or even October if it looks like he will take it.
“Historically, freedom is a rare and fragile thing . . . Freedom has cost the blood of millions in obscure places and in historic sites ranging from Gettysburg to the Gulag Archipelago . . .That something that cost so much in human lives should be surrendered piecemeal in exchange for visions and rhetoric seems grotesque. Freedom is not simply the right of intellectuals to circulate their merchandise. It is, above all, the right of ordinary people to find elbow room for themselves and a refuge from the rampaging presumptions of their ‘betters’.” Thomas Sowell

I personally know several people who recently became first time firearms owners.

Had two Neighbors this morning stop me and ask for some assistance in suggesting a firearm for them, well one was a for a friend of his that was concerned about the current situation.
I told them them pickings are very, very slim right now!

Well, back to the cap and ball for practice, I guess. Hope Pyrodex stays available. I can make percussion caps, don't really like to.
