Maybe this a business opportunity knocking on someone's door! Businesses fail for a wide variety of reasons, from financial to personnel to mindset, or customer support. Have that desire to succeed, develop a business plan and fulfill a dream.

I have to agree, there is a shop/range tat both Czechbikr and I both patronize. A couple years ago the owner was getting tired and was looking to retire or get out of the business. Personally it also looked as if he had lost interest. This business has been there since 1970's and I first shot there back in 1980 and not much had changed. Well he had posted on his website that the store was closing and even had a date posted. I was really bummed. Then about a week before the closing there was a new posting on the site. Under New Ownership! WOO HOO!! At least for me, another Land Mark saved. The shop and the new owner are now both doing well. Infusion of new blood sometimes works wonders.

well the indoor range that I belong to is also open to the general public but I intend to kinda keep my normal routine.
I figure they have several rest rooms , each has running water and soap, the ventilation system pulls fresh air in from the outside, then blows it thorough the shooting area pretty good force, so I assume that most germs etc will be pulled right along with the air, Plus I always wear a Black Ninja hood and face covering when I shoot anyway!
of course there is a ballistic barrier between each lane and each lane is about 3 1/2 feet wide, so not on top of each other.
I figure I will get more exposure checking in than actually shooting, but I can space that away from other customers.?

I checked three local ranges around NW Ark. Two are still open, normal hours. However one has shut down for at least two weeks(the owners are old and not the picture of health on a good day). What has amazed me while I was sitting down for a 4 hour fun visit with my buddy at the best LGS in the area yesterday. Was watching the ammo hoarders and ammo sleazebag panic resellers trying to argue with Don about how much of his 9mm he should sell to them. He started the morning with over 3K rounds of 9mm range ammo, by noon he instigated a two 50 box limit per buyer. By 3pm he was cleaned out of range and SD 9mm. All of his distributors were out by mid afternoon. He also sold scads of 9mm pistols yesterday( he provides one roll of TP with each new gun sold, as a kind of joke). It was weird usually customers come in casually looking at his inventory. Yesterday several folks would walk in and only want to look at a 9mm semi auto, in fact they were quite vocal about it(panic in their voices). This is in a quiet little community in far NW Arkansas. I can't imagine what it must be like in big metro areas.

A friend told me about some guys (friends of friends) in the city asking how to get their FOID cards. It's a bit late for that.

Central Florida Rifle & Pistol Club in Orange County, Florida has cancelled all matches, organized training sessions, club meetings, orientations, etc. until at least April 30th.
The club's ranges remain open for club members as normal. Members should bring their own materials to sanitize the wood shooting benches/tables before use.
