Big Auction near me Mt Hope Feb 14th and 15th

The link is to the auction catalog. I might have to take a vacation day for the 14th

It's a 12 page .pdf and might take some time to load.

Act like You're not interested and then jump in and bid at the last moment.
    To the gun grabbers:
What kind of malicious intent do You have towards Me that makes You fear the fact that I may have a firearm.

Thursday between 1pm to 5pm, you can go and examine the guns. So I'll be leaving work and heading over there. It's a 25 minute drive for me.

That's my standard tactic. My other is to put up fingers and bid about a $100 below what I know it should sell for. This causes a lot of people to drop out right away. When I was bidding on what is now my CZ 75 Kadet pistol, I jumped the price from $50 to $400. That left me and one other person competing for it. It still cost me $465 plus tax. The guy I was bidding against thought I would keep going as I immediately countered his bids.

I always have a limit as I WANT A DEAL!

The other is that I try not to hesitate to immediately countering bid right up to my limit.
