The foaming cleaner/lube G-96 has been my go-to for four decades, plus it has a nice smell. Cleans and lubes at the same time.

Butch's Boreshine is pretty effective on lead and copper fouling, but it has a wicked smell. But it DOES WORK.

Way back, before Mrs. Flash and I were married, her Dad suggested she use Hoppes 9 instead of Chanel 9 , and she did. Which is why/when I "popped the question". That was some powerful stuff in those days.
You must be careful what you pretend to be, because in the end, you are what you pretend to be.

All governments suffer a recurring problem: Power attracts pathological personalities. It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corruptible. Such people have a tendency to become drunk on violence, a condition to which they are quickly addicted. . . . . . . . . . . . .. — Frank Herbert, Chapterhouse: Dune

Have used several but was schooled on Hoppes. But last few years I've found Ballistol simplifies things and works very well as an all in one.

O.K. So far, Hoppes No.9 seems to be the go-to, and CLP is running a close second.

There are multiple "CLPs" also, but it also seems that "Break Free" is the most recognized and quite reasonably priced.

Ballistol I've seen used on Hickock45 vids and he simply bathes the firearm with spray. He swears by the stuff.

Seal1. Put it on, wipe it dry. Clean lubricates and protects
