I'm about 20%, but a few of them get used a lot because I use them for small game or vermin.

Of course, my 20% is probable more .22's than most peoples total firearms count. Of that 20% I've 7 of them that can play host for my suppressor, and in this group, are the ones I shoot the most. Once Ohio allowed hunting with suppressors, I jumped on the bandwagon and bought a AAC Element II. It is good for .22LR, .22WMR, .17 rimfires, and full auto use, but I can't bring myself to buy a full auto .22 like an American 180. I couldn't even bring myself to buy a bump fire stock. I couldn't see wasting the ammo like that.

Also, during the drought for .22 ammo, I was probably sitting on 10 cases of .22 in various flavors.

Also, the one .22 rifles I shoot the least is my Sig 522, and the most is a S&W M&P15-22. The S&W M&P15-22 is my squirrel rifle because it is very light with my CZ452 in second place. Pistol wise, it has to be one of my .22/45 LITE's, again for hunting and target shooting. The bulk of my .22 rifles are JM Marlins. One of my favorites is a 39A pre-micro groove, and a 57M as my favorite .22 Mag. Both were my go to hunting and plinking .22's. Now it's just plinking for the 39, and occasional hunting with the 57M. Today it is the Savage 93 FV-SR in .22 Mag. The 57M rifles have gotten a little pricey these days.

I would have to break out the calculator to accurately figure out the actual percentage but it has to be more than 1% and I do not think that one out of every four of my firearms is a rimfire so I would have to say less than 25%. I would have to count all of them and that is too big of a chore. LOL

    Just over 20% I believe.

I currently own a total of 6 firearms, only one of which is rimfire.

Never seen a rimfire shotgun. So, If you're a shotgun fan, that percentage is skewed way low. A more accurate percentage would be obtained using just handgun and rifle data.

    Ballistic math with brass.
    Hand guns i shoot.
    .22cal+.40cal+.380cal =1.00

That would be 22% rim fire.

Here is one I used to have. It's a Remington 514 with a Rutledge barrel.

I'm trying to move up a category! Ordering a Glock 44 (handgun) and considering the Hammerli Tac R1 (AR style .22lr rifle)

I didn't think I had much n the way of rimfire pieces until I took a mental inventory. Then, between my Ruger 10/22 and Charger, my Henry lever action and AR-7, my Browning 1911-22, my NAA mini's, and a Heritage Rough Rider I realized that I was at least on the 0 - 25% category, (before the tragic boating accident, of course...).
