    New Gun Safe

I picked up a new gun safe today at Tractor Supply they had on their Black Friday sale. Not a big one but all I needed. It's the Sentinel by Cannon 24 gun safe 360 pounds. They had it on sale for $299 which I though was a good price. I know it's not as good as some of you have but it meets my needs.

I have a Cannon safe. It’s been a good one. Smash and grab burglars won’t be taking it anywhere, nor yours.

If you have tools in your garage and one of the ones on "display" is an angle grinder, you would be wise to move it to a more "stealthy" location. You do not want to make a robber's effort to get into your safe too easy.

I have a Sentinel brand, and it works good for me. I think it is rated for 1,400 degrees, for 30 minutes.

A cannon safe? I'da' figured a cannon would be to big to steal because of the weight. Is it on wheels? Must be a BIG safe!!

Congratulations on the new safe. It's very similar to mine and I am getting very near capacity...actually at that level. I've been thinking that rather than buying a larger safe, I could get another like this one and bolt them together.

I went the two safe route mainly because I didn't know where I would put one of the bigger ones. I didn't bolt them together though, I put them in two different locations. I may need to go the three safe route very soon.

Mine’s pretty full. Always buy bigger than you think you need.
