Not so much a 'Walmart shooting' but a shooting in the parking lot of a Walmart. Most likely a drug deal gone wrong but it is characteristically telling that the local ABC affiliate calls it a 'Walmart shooting.'

    Why always a Walmart?

You'd think a "TARGET" store would be a more likely choice.

Just heard it was a domestic dispute. Not a random shooter.

"To own firearms is to affirm that freedom is not a gift from government...As the Founding Fathers knew well, a government that does not trust its honest, law-abiding, taxpaying citizens with the means of self-defense is not itself worthy of trust."

The possession of arms by the people is the ultimate warrant that government governs only with the consent of the governed.

I hope there wasn’t a school anywhere nearby, or CNN and others will call it a school shooting.

Just got off the phone with a friend/retired cop that shops at that Walmart, says it was domestic. Ex-wife, new boyfriend in car. Ex-husband finds them and wants to kill them. Good guy with gun arrives on scene and tells Ex-hubby to stop, ex-hubby says 1 more shot and shoots himself.

I was literally there Friday picking up a power strip for our operation about a mile south of there. Duncan is a tiny place so it'll be interesting to see what develops from this.

All I heard was the initial news and two men and a woman...I figured that was the case.

“Historically, freedom is a rare and fragile thing . . . Freedom has cost the blood of millions in obscure places and in historic sites ranging from Gettysburg to the Gulag Archipelago . . .That something that cost so much in human lives should be surrendered piecemeal in exchange for visions and rhetoric seems grotesque. Freedom is not simply the right of intellectuals to circulate their merchandise. It is, above all, the right of ordinary people to find elbow room for themselves and a refuge from the rampaging presumptions of their ‘betters’.” Thomas Sowell

So just curious, is the Wally World stand alone or are there other shops in that share the parking lot?
