    Ruger online survey

Did anyone else get an email from Ruger, asking you to take an online survey?

    Were you truthful?

    Age
    ethniticity
bought any new firearms this year
did you buy any last year
did you buy any used firearms this year
when did you last buy a firearm

Due to my answers that was all the longer the survey was.

My age and ethnicity is no one's business.
    That's racist.....shame on them............
Come to think of it neither is what I buy or when I buy it.

Nope. Haven't gotten one yet. I can be selective in what I answer if I do.

Yes, I was not dishonest in my answers, but it did give the option "choose not to answer" that I used on some questions.

I only own one Ruger firearm and I'm not signed up for e-mail from them, so I didn't.

That being said, I wouldn't mind taking such a survey, nor would I feel the need to withhold any information unless it was something ridiculously private. Frankly, I don't understand why certain folks are shy about providing their race or whatever, regardless of how irrelevant it may be. Although in my case its kind of trickly to answer, so I just say White/Non-Hispanic, but if they should ever provide a more specific option like; "Uh, apparently I'm like, 38% Italian and a bunch of other Mediterranean/European stuff, or at least that's what Ancestry.com says according to their lastest, ever-changing assessment. Ask again next month, maybe they'll say I'm part African and Israeli again." then I wouldn't mind placing a check mark in the little box beside it. It's not like there's any harm in doing so.

Didn't get one but see them on Facebook. On FB I mostly look at sites, but do not post normally. Went and took it up to a point as well.
