I see gun control as waiting in an ambulance at the bottom of a cliff when we should be building a fence at the top!

13 if I count the .38 Super RIA that was a victim of a kitchen table gunsmith. I gave $250 since the new barrel is going to cost a little more than $165, and I need to do a little milling on a Bridgeport to it's GI frame for a Clark barrel ramp. The Para/Clark ramp is the easiest to mill the frame for. Also, the extractor is a lost cause.

Then again, a few offers have been made so someone else has a winter project. I've 9mm's, 10mm's, and .45's, but no Supers. Also for some reason, no .22's. That's where I'm ahead in the CZ department.

I was going from memory of him talking about his wifes gun but you are right.
CDNN had the 38 super PT1911 in Blue (which is the old nice blue) with a rail, without the rail, and in Stainless with the rail and without the rail, and either could be had in the gold pimpy model or the regular model.
thats where I got my PT1911 38 super but I went with the stainless with out rail and bling.
I forget the exact money but seems like it was about 400 bucks or so?
I know I wish I had got a Blue one at the same time.
heres my lil Buddy from CDNN.--new grips!

her's didn't come from the CDNN Closeout on them because she was too damned indecisive and by the time she decided they were long sold out. I found another one out of Victoria, TX for right around 550 including FFL fees. That was her Xmas gift from me. The grips were also my addition because she wanted it to have a warmer look to it. And yes, it is a Thurdy ate thuper.

What caused the scratched up space in front of the hammer and above the ambi safety? You could probably rub that out with any of the stainless steel cleaners/polishers
