A New Scope for a New Rifle - Vortex 1.75-5X32 Diamondback

I am requesting user experience with a Vortex 1.75-5X32 Diamondback Riflescope.

i have a Remington Model 7 Laminate in .243 due here soon. It has an 18.5” barrel.

i will be using it for deeding hunting, some varmint management around my goat herd, and etc. Based on my shooting recently, most shots will be less than 250 yards. While there are hogs in Central Texas, I haven’t seen any on the property.

What is your experience with this scope? How has it worked at dirty dark? Based on my game camera, the deer on small ranch seem to prefer the night shift around the deer feeder.

Can't say I have any experience with their scopes, but I have a couple of their red dots, and they're great!

don't have a Vortex but I like the 1.75 X 5 scope on smaller carbine type rifles of medium power.
I have one on my Ruger M-77 RSI in 250-3000 Savage and really like it.
have also used that power on a few lever action 30-30.
so if you are asking about the power/use of the scope that may help if asking about eh quality of the particular scope likely not.

I have had very good luck with all of my Vortex optics. I do not have the one you mentioned though.

I placed a Vortex Spitfire 3X prism scope on my new AR-15. I am very satisfied with it.

The brand has a good rep. I've got one on my AR10, but it's still a work in progress so I haven't had it to the range for serious shooting yet.
