New Illinois Gun Dealer Licensing Act Drives Over 50% of FFLs Out-of-Business

The gun grabbers are succeeding in ILLinois. It will drive point of sale prices up and limit the competition on supplies and accessories also.

Plus for those who did renew under the new laws and regulation, the state still hasn't issued certificates that the FFL can send out to vendors in order to prove that they are legal.

My guy is still playing their game, but if his wife decides she's done with this state, he's out of here. She's just staying for the grandkids.

The Black Market is going to thrive! Especially ammo sales out of the trunk of a car.... No tracing where the ammo comes from...
Like Prohibition, only guns & ammo... It may become as lucrative as drug sales on the street!
A military force, at the command of Congress, can execute no laws, but such as the people perceive to be just and constitutional; for they will possess the power, and jealousy will instantly inspire the inclination, to resist the execution of a law which appears to them unjust and oppressive.

This is what I posted the other day. Doesn't do anything to really stop gun crime
but it's just one more inconvenience placed upon the legal gun owners.

Shooters aren't going to gun stores to buy guns. They get them on the street, but
that doesn't matter. This new law does nothing but sure makes some people feel good.

    All the Best,

No, I am convinced that they will take "little bites" at our freedoms, and then when they don't work...which we know they won't change a thing, then they will say that they didn't go far enough.

I thought Chicago had all their gun store and firing range laws struck down because they served to drive gun shops and ranges out of business and were therefore considered to be interfering with the exercise of one's Second Amendment rights. Guess the state NRA will need to go to court over this. In Alabama voting for such BS laws are liable to get you lynched, if not kicked out of office.

Battle of Wanat: 10 years ago last 13 July, 1LT Brostram was killed in combat killing the last enemy combatant in the outpost. The LT went to the point of decision and made the difference that turned the tide of the battle. The original investigation found the Bde Cmdr, the Bn Cmdr and the Co Cmdr at fault for dereliction of duty. If you want to see what a sarcastic silver star citation reads like, pull up the company commander's silver star.
