Sign of the times I guess. I'm glad mine is tuned up, don't want to scare anyone or get shot by responding cops.

Why would anyone be afraid in NYC? Walking the city streets, almost everywhere you look are clusters of at least three policemen and you can see several. Street corners have raised security platforms with blackened glass; these and an overwhelming abundance of CCTV cameras watch every move of every citizen. That American citizens voluntarily live under such intense scrutiny boggles my mind. I went there once and will never go back again. Whatever it has become, it does not represent America.

Guess I'd better not go out in public after eating cabbage.
We'd have the National Guard out roaming the streets.

Knowing New York they'll still use the incident as an excuse to push Gun Control...

Charlatitions: "What if it had been a gun?! Is that a risk you're willing to take? Think of the children! Did you know that there are folks who are legally allowed to carry firearms around on their person every single day concealed beneath their garments! It's true brothers & sisters! Does this not make you feel unsafe?! Are we to trust these shady characters who hide deadly weapons on their person daily?! Why would any honest, gentle, person with good intentions ever desire to carry such ghastly contraptions when we already have the upstanding men, women, non-binaries, and otherkin of the New York Police Department to serve and protect us?! Sure, some may make the flawed argument that concealed carry is a positive thing and twist tales of vigilante justice into tales of selfless heroism, but personally I say that such matters are better left in the hands of the authorities! After all, what's to stop these loose canons from waltzing into the local supermarket with such deadly weapons hidden beneath their clothes then using them to commit wanton acts of murder?! What happens when it isn't just a motorcycle backfiring anymore?! Are we to trust these sneaky individuals to protect us, or should we make sure that they will never be on the wrong side of the law by banning these glorified licenses to kill?! Vote YES to Proposition FU2A!"

Ney York already is a Zoo. We don't want to make them anymore nervous.

Yes I believe that the responsibility of a Gas Attack would fall under the feds and not local law enforcement!

its natural for the human spirit to become jumpy if they are truly threatened by force, some people all it takes is just all this crazy over reporting to make them in total fear.
about the only way to overcome that fear is to experience it and then you begin to understand how to better control your emotions.

So, did anyone hold up a socialistic placard with a picture of earmuffs or jazz hands when this noise was made?
