    Recommendations for SOB holster.

Looking for a leather SOB holster. Prefer leather, right hand with palm in.

De Santis makes good leather holsters.

E-Bay has a few listed. i like Galco leather holsters myself. But that is just a preference on my end. I own quite a few. Being left handed you have to get them when you can find them. I know sooner or later I will get a gun to fit them.

Also like Galco. Have been to their factory/showroom in AZ. and purchased a few holster's and belts. Not familiar with the SOB carry position looking for some feedback on different manufacturers.

    Have you carried SOB?

I tried it and it was painful.

I hope you have better luck.

Would not be an every day thing. Just for when a suit is required.

I have considered getting a left handed holster and sliding it back there to see how it fits.Have not done so yet.

Keep in mind that wearing a SOB holster with handgun in it could be an extremely bad decision. Should you fall down backwards during a scuffle or be knocked down backwards, you would stand a very high chance of breaking your back. I don't know what your situation while carrying will be, but if you can wear a sport coat, you might want to consider a shoulder holster instead of SOB. Depending upon the size of your handgun, it could be carried grip forward which would keep someone else from having easy access to your firearm. A shoulder holster does typically require being fitted to you but that is a one-time exercise. If wearing a shoulder holster would not be an option, I would recommend carry other than SOB to protect yourself from injury should you fall.

I would not consider a SOB holster for the reasons stated. I do, however, have two leather shoulder rigs that I find very comfortable.
My third and latest is actually the Kangaroo Carry holster that fits under my shirt. It’s basically a belly band with a pouch and shoulder strap, worn high under the pec muscles. The pouch fits under the arm and can accommodate most small to medium sized revolvers and semi-autos. Very comfortable, secure and concealable, even without a jacket.

Had a shoulder holster once and found it very combersome. Holster kept bouncing around. Thinking an ankle holster might work.
