Nope, no .40 in police holsters. The new rage is the .355 magnum....aka 9x19. The .355 supermag is all but dead....aka .38 super. Now, it might not actually be able to kill a man outright, rumor has it that you have to get out of the way, shoot the BG at an angle to avoid the ricochet. Personally, I plan to shoot for the head. The least it would do is give the guy a headache.

With the Kommie-fornication mag law being struck down by SCOTUS, it will be interesting to see how long it takes an interested party to sue New York. The new tactic by the Antis is to use states as test beds. It's a longer trip from their to SCOTUS, and then a minimum number of justices have to vote that a particular case is worthy of their time and consideration. In states that are demo-commie strongholds, as was the case for New York, there are not enough conservatives to block legislation and their state supreme courts are no different than their legislative branches.

One particular gun rights org. I've started paying closer attention to, courtesy of Gun Talk Radio, is the Firearms Policy Coalition. Their not out to compete for your $ or the NRA as some others groups do. They strictly concentrate on the political manipulation of our gun rights.

It's a fake news article, pure and simple, the only real intent with it as the OP states to ban ""big bore" guns. They have so-called "data" and in those graphics charts saying that .22LR has less fatalities then other calibers.. BUT they also state that people are carrying more "larger" caliber guns. So first it's larger bullets kill more people, then it is people are carrying larger caliber firearms.. they go flip-flop off the track of their own article.. and again.. it's reads like simply as fake news.

Um, no, you're incorrect. The Cali magazine ban hasn't yet reached the SCOTUS. The injunction was issued by a Federal District Court judge who, a few days later, stayed his own injunction pending a court challenge by the State of California. The ownership of said magazines is still permitted but the sale of same to California residents ended last Friday, April 5th, at 5:00 PM, PT.

Didn't the SCOTUS decline to hear the appeal on the NY magazine ban?

But we're talking about the California magazine ban that a Federal judge issued a permanent injunction on about a week ago, then reversed his own ruling effective last Friday.

Thanks for the correction! After the stay, I think it will go through the higher CA courts and on to SCOTUS.

The judge didn't reverse his ruling. He put issued a stay on sales of high-cap mags to allow time for an appeal. The ruling's still in place, and the burden is on the California AG to convince the court that hears the appeal to overturn the judge's ruling.

But anyone who bought mags between the decision and the stay can keep them.

You're right. That was a bad choice of terms on my part.
