My "back pocket" guns around the farm are either Charter Arms Pathfinder 22LR snubnose or Heritage Arms Birdshead, 3" barrel, w/22 magnum cylinder.
Also on hand are 2 more Heritage rough Riders, 2 Single Six's, and a Ruger MkIII 6"

The 22WMR cylinders in the single action revolvers give me the power of a 22LR thru a rifle, but in a pocket size package.

After dark, the 22 is swapped for something with a little more power in case something's lurking after my chickens.

I like everything .22 LR. So far I own the following: S&W M&P 22C, S&W 422, S&W Victory and two Heritage Rough Riders. In addition, I plan of getting a Phoenix HP 22.

I'd carry my Heritage 3" bird's head more with the magnum cylinder, but it doesn't shoot to POA. I need to practice more with it. It just shoots a couple inches left at 25 yards, makes it a little hard to hit with. I usually carry my SR22 out back, easy to carry and shoots to POA into about 2" at 25 yards. It's got enough "power" to do anything I need doing. The magnum does put down a trapped coon quick, though. It's a fun little gun and it's way cool looking.

I don't have a 22lr pistol but will get one. I do have this HR mp5 22lr rifle. Love shooting it and always get looks from people at the range.

Your problem sounds like a lot of fun to me. I see now that I must not have a problem because I only have 4 handguns and 3 rifles that shoot .22 caliber. Of course maybe a problem I have is that I don't have enough - hmmm.....
