Nope, I don't believe that at all! From the picture of that gun I'd say you already hit a homerun!

This thread is a lot of fun! I'm enjoying looking at all the .22 pistols that belong to folks on this forum.

Here is another set of my .22 caliber family. Some of these might be new to some of y'all....

These five are a Klein Flobert 5.6 mm German/muff gun circa 1857, an ISSC .22, Erma .22 luger, Sig Hammerli Trailside, and a Beretta Model 21-A.

    This thing:

Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite dragged through the accessories catalog. Thing is a crazy tack driver. I had a U22 Neos with the 6.5" barrel, but my brother's wife liked shooting it so much that I basically gave it to them.

My wife has an SR22, it's fun with HV ammo, but that doesn't count for me. I don't have one, I should have one. Oh man, now I'm panicking, what should I get? So many great options.

I have quite a few 22 pistol and have shot even more. Right now with what's available going by price ease of maintenance accuracy and availability of Aftermarket accessories I would recommend to anyone the Smith & Wesson victory.

Either that or the Mark IV - the new one-button takedown procedure is pretty great.

22LR firearms at our house include: Ruger LCR, LCRX 3", SR-22 and Single Ten. The wife has her own LCR as well.

So I did pick up a Phoenix HP22 but not at a gun show. Got if for $125 plus shipping online. I have maybe 200 rounds through it so far and like it a lot but it IS a heavy little sucker. As I mentioned, its use will only be as a truck gun and walking to/from our lot (we are right on the edge of a bad area.) I do leave it in my vehicle when I am working (my employer prohibits CC and I like my job) so if it gets stolen - so be it. I'll report it and get another one. However, I have recently looked at a Kel Tec PMR 30 in 22 WMR. 30 rounds.
