    The start of my collection

Purchased my first gun at 40 years old and 6 months later I'm up to a total of 4 guns. My wife thinks I'm crazy lol but i told her it is addicting. First gun was the PT809, then the PT111, then i picked up a Springfield XD-E, and my last purchase was a Ruger AR556 MPR, she's like do you really need that and I'm like hell yeah i need it!!!

My wife likes to go shooting more than I. And when my gun magazines come in I get them after she reads them. My wife also chooses the next gun (with some hints from me) we are going to add to our growing collection. Now she wants a marlin 1895sbl ( pre remington). I'm just here for the ride to the gun store.

I hope all those who subscribe to this democratic socialism reap the bennies that they sowed, just leave me and mine alone!.......

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.

You are lucky your wife likes to shoot. Mine did not mind that I had guns, she however did not like to shoot.

And so it goes! About 7 years ago, at 55, I bought my first gun, Mossberg 500. Money is my only limiting gun buying! Although I don't have to "explain" to anyone!

Very nice start to your collection.

I tell my wife, "I just want one more".

Be glad you started late. I bought my first when I was 12. $26 for an early Marlin 781. It cost me mowing 4 yards.

It's been down hill from there. I'm now pricing a 3rd safe.
