Went to the range this morning with a kid who used to work for me and I taught to shoot . We had a great time catching up and shooting.

Shot mostly 22, but did do a little 9mm and 45acp. The FNX 45 could be one of my most accurate guns. The SA trigger is very good for a "combat" handgun. No pictures, but I did have 3, 5 shot groups at an inch or under at 10 yards.

I shot at the 100 yard gong a few times, missed.

well when I went Thursday I took the 300 Blackout pistol and the lil Sig 365, man the more I shoot these two guns the more I really like them.
ran the 300 BO at 25 yards and put 100 rounds in the brain and center mass on a GPSTA Law enforcement target, it has a red dot on it.
then ran the Sig 100 rounds from 5 yards to 15 yards and placed 94 in the ten ring of a B-27 and the other 6 in the 9 Ring just outside the 10 ring.
I am like a kid opening presents on Christmas when I take these guns.
mostly cause they are my carry gun and my home defense weapon.--FUN---FUN---FUN--FUN!

Went for a few hours today. Shot my old PT1911 (13 yrs. old), S&W Shield 40, Glock 19, and S&W Victory .22. I shot up some .45acp in the 1911 that I reloaded a while back with the Hy-Tec coated bullets. Impressed me. Good shooting and accurate, and very clean in the bore. I will probably use these for everything from now on.

Its my birthday and I'll shoot if I want to.
    I took the SA AR-15 Saint, 1957 SA M-1 Garrand, 1927 Winchester 62A .22.
    All kinds of hand guns.
My daughter and son-in-law came with me.

I installed Lakeline fiber optic sights on both handguns, surprisingly I did it correctly and the sights were actually on, miraculously. I'm VERY impressed with the G3 so far. I put about 250 rounds thru it and it's a tack driver at 15 yards and in. A very well running handgun. The G2C is a bit small for my meaty hands but the extended mags I have took care of that issue. The G2C ran great also. I'm going for my enhanced CCL at the end of May here in Arkansas and I'm going to use the G3. It's taken over as my favorite 9mm. I very much like the size of it, a bit larger than a Glock 19 but not enough where you can't carry concealed as I've been doing ever since I bought it. Anyway, it's a great handgun, very impressed with Taurus quality as far as how both handguns are made and thinking I may pick up another G3 in the OD green color scheme here in a few months. Hope everyone has a good one.
    Welcome aboard.

Just got back from Bullet Trap. Put another fifty through the S&W Shield EZ 9mm and another fifty through the S&W .38 Airweight, both I recently bought for my daughter. I want to have given them a good shakedown before I give them to her.

    Henry .22 carbine- 100 rounds
    Taurus 709 Slim-50 rounds
    Ruger ec9s -50 rounds
Need to add that of all that there were zero malfunctions of any kind.
Been a while since I had taken the 709 out. Forgot what a sweet shooter it was.

I got OUT today! First time in maybe 10 weeks or more. I had to go up to Lake county to take a photo and called the range in McHenry to be sure they were open. I asked the guy at the counter if they had been busy...he said it's been feast or famine. I remarked that his ammo shelves looked full, and he said that what I saw is all they'll have. New orders have been shut down. He also remarked that the governor Toilets Pritzker is trying to shut down the ranges.

I took the Ruger 10/22, the Ruger SR22 and the CZ83. For once the CZ 83 felt like the big gun on the block!

The SR22 had some feeding issues with CCI rounds which it didn't have before. Fired about 150 rounds of 22LR and a box of 380 Auto. If ILLinois shuts down I will have to make the next trip up North to WI.
“Historically, freedom is a rare and fragile thing . . . Freedom has cost the blood of millions in obscure places and in historic sites ranging from Gettysburg to the Gulag Archipelago . . .That something that cost so much in human lives should be surrendered piecemeal in exchange for visions and rhetoric seems grotesque. Freedom is not simply the right of intellectuals to circulate their merchandise. It is, above all, the right of ordinary people to find elbow room for themselves and a refuge from the rampaging presumptions of their ‘betters’.” Thomas Sowell

Hmm. The ammo shelves in the stores around here have begun to perk up since last week. They don't have everything, but they're getting enough of a few things that've I've been able to get some (and I'm not keeping track of shipping dates).

I am still considering getting back into handloading, though.
