Shot the Wrangler just now. I'm not terribly impressed with accuracy off the bench, but I'm able to hit with it pretty well off hand, so I guess it's accurate enough.

I've not been shooting much, just too hard on me to get out there. I was feeling pretty well when I got up and got my shower, so when I got dressed, I got the Wrangler out, I took it out to shoot.

So you think the Rough Rider shoots better?

Went shooting today. Gave these handguns a spin. S&W Victory .22, Glock 19, Uberti 45 Colt Single Action Sheriff’s model 3 1/2 inch barrel, and Uberti 45 Colt Single Action with 7 1/2 inch barrel.

Tested a different .22lr ammo today in 3 (very) different rifles. CCI-SV is my everyday ammo (it was CCI-MM, but my guns like SV better or the same.)

So I warmed up the barrel and then shot 10 rounds of CCI-SV.
Then I shot 10 rounds of Eley Standard (CMP).
(I shot 2 rounds of the 2nd ammo off target to "re-season" to the different ammo.)

    Pics say it all.

They shoot very on par with each other with their best loads. The Wrangler is slightly tighter groups rested, but it's so close you won't know the difference off hand. Both are pretty much in the 2" group range at 25 yards off the bench. So, as shooters, I'd been better off just not getting the Wrangler, but it is very solid and well built and it IS a Ruger for my collection. At the price, why not?

There are some loads, though, that are all over the paper at 25 yards with the Wrangler. The RR seems to shoot most loads at LEAST into 3 or 4" at 25 yards.

I got to the range today. I put 100 rounds through my new TX22, 50 rounds through the 605 and 50 through the S&W 6906. I really love the TX22!

took the old AR-15 Bushmaster out for a run yesterday.
range is indoors and only 25 yards so it was like childs play.
100 rounds at 25 yards and 10 shot groups each target--most were 1 inch or less , nothing larger than 1 1/2 inch on a few pulled rounds.
55 grain copper BT projectiles being pushed along by BLC-2
she ran 100% and it was fun.

The MSR is one of the most enjoyable rifles to shoot!

Put new glass on my 995ts and did a 100 rounds. 1" groups (just 25yrds) is so KISS.
Put 20 rounds through my "elevator gun", a JA22. Silly little thing runs perfect.
Snow storm in progress... only an hour at the range so I had to head to the barn.

I've been itching to get the 995 TS out for a run...maybe Friday.
