Who went shooting today?

Had a great shoot on Friday. Because it involved some handloads, I started a thread in the reloading section.

Well, it's just too danged cold for ME to shoot today, not to mention the miserable nasty weather. I mean, all I have to do to shoot is step out the back door, but there'll be another day when it warms up later in the week.

Oh, I guess that's not all I have to do to shoot. I kinda need my waders just for the back yard.

That's the issue I see with TX...either you're roasting in a great outdoors sauna or freezing one's butt off sliding on ice.

I love the burnt ends off a slab of brisket. I do eat a lot of BBQ pork, though, since I have so much of it running around here needing to be shot.

One can dress up for the cold, I suppose. Not much you can do in August, but limit outdoor exposure. I wasn't so picky when I was young. The older I get, the pickier I get.

we are starting to get that way with Liberals up here but I swear I just don't think that I could stand the taste of one even if I did shoot them!
