    Went again this morning.

Took the Security-Six and the ATI again.

Ran new reloads through the ATI with great success. For the cost this is really a great,
great gun. It's much more accurate than I'm capable of shooting. I accidentally shot
a couple five shot groups at seven yards where all the holes were touching . I don't think I
could do better with a $2000 Ed Brown or Les Baer.

Security-Six is just boring reliable and accurate. I take it because I don't have to chase the
    brass to reload.

    All the Best,

I actually broke out the 24x14 tarp and spread it out the other day and shot my two Ruger P guns, P85 and P90, which I've not fired in a while because I'm lazy. I have revolvers that don't chunk brass. So, I can relate to your feelings on that. I have an advantage in that I don't have to take this tarp to a range, just pull it out of my shed and spread it out, drop concrete pavers on the corners if it's very windy which I have right there by the shed. Those pavers are actually to weigh down my disc harrow that I pull behind my ATV, but they're dual use.

Yes, I do enjoy shooting my autos, but it's a bit more a pain than setting up for revolvers.

I think it has a 1 in 18 and 3/4 twist which favors heavy slugs. I think Pythons are 1-14 which I think is a better all around twist.

I've run mostly .38 Specials through mine but never had a problem handling it with hot .357's.

Well, that would explain why my WCs weren't so accurate. I still load a 140 JHP over 17 grains of 2400 for hot .357 and that old Security Six would put those into an inch at 25 yards off the bench. It was a good gun, just didn't like light 38 loads and put them WAY off windage AND elevation from a .357 sight in. My 4" Taurus 66 will put .38s into an inch at 25 and only requires an elevation change, so I'm quite happy with it. And, the Blackhawk that I traded that Security Six for is a shooter, too! I can sit down and rest the gun over bags at 100 yards and put 6 shots into 4" with it using a 165 grain (as cast with gas check installed) Keith style SWC over 14.5 grains 2400. And, that's with the issue iron sights! I've taken pigs and a deer with that gun and impressed some rifle shooters at our club range with it. So, I think the SS for Blackhawk trade was in my favor. The guy I made the trade with wanted a defensive revolver, so he was happy, too. Good trade all around. Only thing, his wife had given him that Blackhawk for Christmas and he was concerned what she'd think if she found out he'd traded it. Well, they're no longer married, so I guess it didn't go over.

I have to use the local private indoor range so, no tarp for me. If it goes over the line, it's theirs and it
seems, with this pistol, most ALL of them go over the line.

The ATI Commander continues to impress me. The more I shoot it the better it is.

Ran around 100 reloads through it today and it would easily shoot two inch groups at 10 yards when I did my part.
$366 well spent. Still waiting to get my buddy with the $1200 SIG 1911 to the range.

I did! I shot my new happy single shot 20 gauge UTAS-USA shotgun, and also used my .22LR shotgun adapter down at Palmetto State Armory, Fernandina location has a nice range. I posted my range report in the "other long arms" section of the forum. I may go out again, next week to a new location and do more testing on the .22LR shotgun adapter.

I went for my regular practice with the CCW and its backup, (CZ P-10C and P-07).

As hot and humid as it was this morning, the aggressive grip on the P-10C is very appreciated. I also shot a LCRx 3" this morning. I acquired it at an auction on Wednesday evening. Nice little revolver that's too light to feel real.

I went yesterday morning to put a few rounds thru my Browning Hi Wall but the regular Range Officer was sick so I ended up letting him go home and worked the range myself. I opened again this morning and he came in around lunch time to relieve me. Didn't get to shoot but still had a good time talking to everyone. I have another treatment Monday so it will be a couple of weeks before I get to try again.

P10C are still like unicorns around here.
MY range /gun shop has received about 20 of them the manager says and they are a direct buyer form CZ.
all of those were already sold to customers.
course I doubt that I would get one anyway as my P-01 fills that need.
