Welcome from Northern Illinois! You're going to like those sights!

I've been pretty busy lately. First, I got a 33rnd Glock magazine for my home defense gun. I have 3 cheap knock offs, which cost about as much as the Glock magazine usually costs retail. I was pretty skeptical of paying so much more for the Glock brand, but after loading it the first time, I must say, the Glock magazine is worth every penny. I'll never buy another cheap knockoff.

Several years ago, I saw a Helwan 9mm for $120. I've regretted not buying it ever since. Fortunately, (and finally) I found a Beretta M1951 surplus from the Italian Navy, and decided I had to have that as well.

You're going to like that gun! It quickly became one of my favorites. Actually two of my favorites, I liked it so much I bought a second.

I keep five of those mags loaded and on top of my safe. Another sits in my PSA AR9 pistol.

Do you guys order from places like Midway or Brownells? Lately, I’ve been ordering mags, etc direct from the OEM . . eg, SigSauer and Ruger. Plan on picking up a couple of extra mags for my XDm (10mm) direct from Springfield. If what I need is available in a local store, I’ll buy there but otherwise it’s direct from the company.

Currently there ain’t a “gotta have” so I’m Investing in accessories and ammo. Yes, there will be another firearm in my future before the end of the year but I want to hold off and redo inventory after stocking up on the accessories.
