I had my own good time in Waco this weekend. My best old Aggie buddy's boy got married in the Catholic church in West, Texas....NOT west Texas, but the town of West. You might remember it blowing up a few years back. Well, the town is still there as is the church. I met an old friend I hadn't seen in 30 years, ate good food Friday and Saturday in Waco at the reception down town at the ""Paladium". Tex and a few Wacoites probably know where that is, but thank GOD for my GPS! We stayed at the Super 8 on I35, drove home today.

After yesterday's tasty food, the thought of the leftover chicken and rice stuff in my fridge for dinner tonight is rather depressing.

Gosh I hate that I missed this. I'd much rather have been there than doing what I had to do.....looking forward to the pictures, and I will make plans to be there next year definitely.

Did you manage to catch a round count?!? I have to admit -- I lost count pretty early in the proceedings!!!
    I'd go with:
    pistol - 1 million
    Rifle - 1/2 million
    Shotgun - 150,000

    close - ya think?!?!

Only three bottles of bourbon, eh. I see the beer can/bottle count was left off of the list.

I see. I like that kind of math. 1:1. Keeps it simple.

Someday I really want to make one of these shoots. But for now, soccer and baseball for the youngest two take a lot of my time. A lot. And I won't trade this time away for anything. But someday I'll make it. With two bottles of bourbon, just in case someone wants to share.
