Seriously thinking about starting my own blog with that title :-)
Most of you know my background in military and law enforcement. It's obvious I have a heart to serve. Heck even in college I worked as a bus boy at a restaraunt and eventuall worked my way up to head bartender. I would never what to hurt anyone intentionally. Yet, sometimes people can get scared around me. I see it and know the signs. Is it because I am black or because I am 6'0 220? Maybe it's both.
Here's the thing folks. I love guns. I always have and always will. I am passionate about firearms but also about safety. I build my own guns and I enjoy it. But some believe my black rifles are evil. However, nobody can explain why.
My point is that neither of these things is a problem unless you handle us the wrong way. Treat us with respect and there won't be any issues. We are both fun and can provide a lifetime of companionship as well as enjoyment. what some fear is what they don't know. You don't have to deal with us if you don't want. Nobody is forcing you to. Just don't label us bad because of what we could do. I'm a nice black guy with a nice rifle.
I say go for it.You have had to swim upstream before so don't let the current stop you now!
Vengeance is mine sayeth the .45
Wait a second, you're black?
"Always carry a knife with you. Just in Case there's cheesecake or you need to stab someone in the throat."
"Do you know what the chain of command is here? It's the chain I go get and beat you with to show you who's in command."
Friends don't let friends buy Keltecs...
I live in a purple house, you got a problem with that?
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes."
You sound like a decent guy otherwise you wouldn't have lasted here with this crew. Go for it.
I was raised to not judge people by their color, religion, sex, orientation, or political views but to judge them by if they are an asshole or not.

The one with the Orange tag is an ar 9mm pistol I built. I will post updated pics soon.
i just keep hearing how evil the black rifle is and how no one should have them. Funny, I could say the same for cars. Heck even, peanuts kill people! I asked someone what should we have? They said revolvers or bolt action rifles. I asked do you think I could kill with those two weapons? They said yes. I asked what do you think would stop me before law enforcement arrives? They said they didn't know, what? I said the guy or girl with an AR who pinned me down with suppressive fire :-)
I don't mind the opinions, I just hate when people won't have realistic conversations.
To me, it ain't about the color of the wrapper. It is about the make up of the contents.
I am the nicest guy on earth, Just ask me.

I really don't give w crap about color and only use it to describe something. My main point here isn't my color but more of a play on the evil black rifle term.
Ahh the evil black rifle. Or so some of the anti-gunners call it. Seriously it doesn't matter what you call it, it doesn't change its function. One round down range for each pull of the trigger. Doesn't matter if it has a bayonet lug, fore grip, barrel shroud, pistol grip, or "the thing that goes up" on it...it's a semi-auto rifle.
The only evil is ignorance...the only good is knowledge.
I have a solution! Lets just all get our "evil, black rifles" CeraKoted a different color!
Gun control is like making it harder for sober people to own cars.
You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the struggle for independence.
