My niece wants to cook over a camp fire, so that's what we're going to do. Hot dogs, sausages, burgers, and marshmallows later for s'mores.

LoL come on up brother, we'll have plenty.

Also going to be making my aunts red beans and rice, with a twist, adding pinto beans to the mix and using smoked ham hocks instead of the spiced sausage she uses.

Tonight we had biscuits and gravy...kind of.

Bought sausage when we went shopping tonight, got home, opened it up and it was spoiled...green stinky spoiled, not just an "off" smell. So I ended up using ground pork from last years pigs (no way in hell was I driving 20 miles back in to town for two pounds of frikkin pork sausage)

Took a whole lot of white pepper to overcome the blandness of the milk and unseasoned pork. Still tasted good, but, was closer to being SOS than biscuits and gravy...didn't stop me from putting two over easy eggs in between the biscuits and the gravy though

I'm having leftover Popeye's spicy chicken thighs and Cheetos. What the heck, you can't live forever...might as well enjoy yourself.

Best thing about meatloaf...cold meatloaf sandwiches for breakfast the next day (and lunch and dinner if you make a meatloaf like I do)

Not a good day here so I went into town for supper so I didn't have to sit and eat alone looking at the wall! I had two fish fillets, baked potato, peas and carrots, dinner roll, a piece of spice cake and coffee.
