Ended up having thin center cut pork chops, rice, and broccoli.

Took my wife out for birthday dinner last night. She had grilled lamb and I had grilled top sirloin. She got a bottle wine valued at her age and a baked dessert as a birthday present from the restaurant. I can't say what the price was on the wine.

I'm smoking bacon on a stick, not what you think it is. It's cured St. Louis style ribs. I'll post the recipe later on in the diner.

Had some good London Broil for lunch. Yes I cooked my own Father's Day lunch. Well the steaks at least. Since the grill was still hot I put some Pico De Gallo flavored sausages on and will have them for dinner tonight.

Lobster something or other (lobster, shrimp, mushrooms, & spinach rolled in some sort of large pasta), minestrone, and tiramisu at Olive Garden. First time I've eaten there in years, was really nice.

Ok, went and looked it up. It was called "lobster cannelloni", was fantastic and I'm not that big a fan of lobster.

Steaks on the grill got cancelled by the rain.

Moved inside, nuked some dogs and put those with my wife's homemade hotdog sauce.

Of course my daughter and I added generous line of Cholula Hot Sauce to liven things up a bit!

Why has the world gone to hell since John Wayne died?

Help save America, have your liberal spayed or neutered.

"If the federal government could control anything, I could probably listen to that gibberish, but when they do such a horrible job in controlling spending, borrowing, controlling illegal drugs and illegal aliens coming into this country while they give AK-47s to Mexican drug lords through Fast and Furious, I don’t see much hope in them even beginning to control guns."

Too busy eating for pictures. Now I'm full, sitting back in the chair and, in my head, going "Neener, neener!"
