A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.

It's the heel and if it's the last piece, it's toast!

It is, above all, the right of ordinary people to find elbow room for themselves and a refuge from the rampaging presumptions of their ‘betters’.” Thomas Sowell

I prefer to eat the heels first, if they are big enough, better for a sandwich.

I don't care for the heel, mom would save and freeze them to use in her turkey dressing at Thanksgiving.

I used to always call it the heel. Grew up calling it that. About 10 years ago I started calling it the butt. Still do today.

As for eating them, yes I eat them unless they are paper thin because the loaf was slightly to big.

I'll eat the heel but it has to be soaked in rum overnight first.

Heel and it gets used depending on how thick it is on sliced bread.

On Italian or rye bread, it gets buttered and heated up in the microwave.

Now...the crucial question. Do you make the sandwich bread side out or crust side out?
